Sometimes I obsess over details a bit too much. For example, dynamically rendering the UI on the screenshots on cindori.com/backdrop The dock and menu bar are actually scaled HTML components (with random icons!) so they maintain fidelity at all scales 😄

@kristoffer using superwhisper.com, it’s pretty good!

Do you think Apple will showcase anything more impressive than this at WWDC?

@zcs it’s just fullscreen side-side with cursor

Coding will never be the same

@tibimac I find that I don't need to most of the time, if the feature works and the test passes then it's fine. Unless I hit a very specific error that the agent can't resolve itself.

2025-05-25

@ivmirx Same! I find it also relieves hyper-fixation and I don't spend hours or days perfecting some piece of code because it's one prompt from being washed away anyway.

2. I don't get tired, because my brain stays in ideation mode. When you don't have to use all your brainpower to debug compiler errors, manually parse code or think up architectural decisions, developing becomes about as exhausting as playing a video game.

Two important observations I've made while vibecoding: 1. I learn so much! The feedback loop of reasoning and results is so powerful. You always have the "why" right in front of you. It's like a learning cheat code that I hope makes its way to public education one day.

I’ve never built anything with python or AI API’s. Today I built a whole product prototype of a platform with a python backend and NextJS frontend that leverages OpenAI to solve a fairly complex problem. I did not write a single line of code. All done with AI 🤯

Cursor with Gemini 2.5 is absolutely insane. Highest quality Swift output I've seen. It's implementing whole features from singular prompts. Still needs supervision, but way less than other models, and the corrections are spot on.

TIL the Apple race car emoji comes with an easter egg...

Sensei 1.6.2 is out, with a bunch of bug fixes and a brand new Feedback view. Go make your voice heard on what features you'd like to see improve for a 2.0 version!

We're closing up on 1 year since the launch of Paddle Billing, and I'm not sure whether anyone at Paddle is still working on it. How can the vendor portal be so useless? I can't even see breakdown of sales per product. Left is what they promise, right is the actual dashboard

2025-05-17

There's some other improvements too, like merging Monitor (menu bar) app with the main app. Overall the whole architecture has been completely streamlined, while keeping all the features intact. This is going to allow me to start working on a proper 2.0.

This update replaces the helper tool with a modern LaunchDaemon. The result is much better stability and UX. Simply follow the instructions to enable the daemon in macOS Settings, and you’re done, forever. No need to re-approve whenever the daemon is updated.

2025-05-17

The most important improvement was modernizing the helper tool. Sensei shipped with a privileged helper tool to perform elevated tasks (gathering stats, cleaning files etc). But the installation would sometimes fail, leaving users stuck on onboarding.

2025-05-17

I’ve been working on a major update to Sensei over the last few weeks. This update is a total overhaul of the architecture of the app, improving performance across the board and squishing some of the most persistent bugs.

So much of what iPad can't do is stuff that Apple refused to let it do — to protect the revenue streams of the App Store and other products like the Mac. We're going to look back on the Tim Cook era as a period where Apple intentionally compromised its products, its customer and developer relationships, papercut by papercut, because of the corrupting influence of in-app purchase revenue. If iPad were to launch today, its reception would be *much* closer to the Vision Pro and Apple TV App Stores
