@StarsongDusk the more you know!! i didn't realize it was a common enough occurrence for there to be *real* protocol, but it does make sense -- the OR is kind of important in a hospital that has one, so everything needs to be thought of!

they said it would be down for a week, but my operation is on a semi-emergent basis, so if my doc and a nearby facility is available, i think they're planning on moving my stuff there. hopefully i don't have to move the date, my boss will kill me 😂

i have... so many questions. i wonder if someone was getting surgery and then there was just a massive water main break or something, like what is protocol lmfao

also i faced the wrath of my boss for this last-minute surgery, so it'll be fun explaining i need another day off to her 😒

i've always been interested in working as art staff for a con. i've worked one in the past through a friend's help, but i want to do more; however, it seems pretty obtuse to offer volunteer work for a lot of cons, unless i'm going insane and not looking where i need to lol
