@tripplehelix actually, no. I have a pi but no drives π
@tripplehelix I actually for once want sth that just runs and runs and runs without me maintaining it a lot :D but yeah, it's definitely a good solution for nerds
@tripplehelix first of, I want my photos to be in sync wherever I am. Secondly I don't know if I could built a good cooling system for the hard drives π€· I haven't looked into it as much as Synology gives me an actual operating system that was made for NASs
@lil5 right? I guess if I can set it to automatically delete the photo from the Synology when I delete it from my phone a third party app like Gallery or Google Photos (with internet connection denied) does the job!
@lil5 yes. Have you seen them? π I'm also thinking of running immich or ente on it if that'd work. That's also why I (think) I need some decent CPU and enough RAM.
@zeitverschreib do you miss anything compared to newer Synology devices?
@blackvoid alright. I'll have to dig a bit deeper into them when I bought one. I guess if they work great it's better than a half-baked good looking app π
I want a NAS. I am thinking about buying a #synology NAS, but the android apps all look like they were last touched at least a century ago. Only when it comes to the beestation the apps look modern.
Are there any alternative apps? :)
@glsbank :D
Cars parking in the bike lane radicalized me 13 years ago, and these days my willingness to "just go around" has hit rock bottom. It feels more important than ever to make it safe for ALL of us to walk and bike.

@glsbank thanks, a new app again. Could be great, we'll see. Thanks
I've shared my feedback of the gls banking app in the play store months ago and tho I got a nice answer, nothing has yet been implemented by @glsbank and I hope to get some more attention here :)
I need:
- a way to add cash to our balance via supermarkets for areas without branches
- notifications for new transactions
- a way to pay via nfc on android
- some kind of overview where our money goes to
- a way to approve/deny all requests inside of the gls banking app instead of an external app

Since the last Signal update, my pinned 'Note to self' contact gets unpinned every now and then. Very annoying!
Is there an alternative to Google Firebase Analytics for Android Applications which is widely adopted and/or loved by the open source community?
@laaspher "Demnach brennen batterieelektrische Fahrzeuge zwischen zehn und 100 mal seltener als Verbrenner."
Weil ja Elektroautos angeblich so hΓ€ufig brennen:
Eine Studie des amerikanischen Versicherers AutoinsuranceEZ ergab, dass gerade 25 von 100.000 versicherten Autos mit batterieelektrischem Antrieb brennen. Bei Verbrennern sind es 1530 von 100.000 Fahrzeugen.
