I’ll probably do an Orbi ax6000 and a hardware firewall

returning to mastodon to use it for it's true purpose: helping me figure out home networking.

I'm looking at the Netgear Orbi RBE973

Goals - support 2 home offices and smart home devices. I have obtrusive walls, so I'll try to hardwire where possible.

Good plan/bad plan? I'd rather not go eero bc I dont trust the amazon connection

@starshaped i used pocket casts on android for a while and it was ok. changed owners a lot recently. right now i'm being lazy and just using the native iphone app. (I have overcast, but I forget about it!)
