You know me.. I like to be confusing...

notnull.click is my original Pleroma instance, notnull.space is GtS and snac.notnull.space is snac

I'm generally only using notnull.space and snac.notnull.space these days, but click is still around

I said "Today is a good day to CLI" to a friend and now I think it's an excellent meme... take it from here, terminal lovers, and do as you need

That's me!
I still have my other account (@paul) so I can see this post.
Didn't know media was an issue - can I ask, do you have any tracker/ad blocking going on with your browser? I've only just set this instance up and have noticed if I use something like the Semaphore frontend media doesn't work unless I drop tracking protection from "Block trackers and ads" to "Block trackers only"

Obviously not the ideal fix, I was just wondering out of interest if it may be the same thing. Other frontends (Elk for example) seem fine so I think it's something fixable somewhere.

Apocalyptic evangelicals who believe The Rapture will occur today, let's make a bet: if you're right, you'll ascend and never have to worry about the likes of me again. But if you're wrong, you have to leave the rest of us the hell alone for your remaining days. Deal?

Hi all, our server is currently unreachable, not even via VPN and the network of our provider does not respond to pings, too.

Drink something, test your work again, and push it once we're back online 🧉

@BrideOfLinux hmm... funny this happens after a tonne of schools dump Chromebooks they bought 3 years ago (because they're no longer supported) and replaced them with Windows laptops... 😅

@sotolf Absolutely! Then add it to your screenshot scripts if you need it (via an alternative hotkey perhaps)

There we are, you made me go #noBar and I'm making you go #noCompositor - I think I have repayed my debt :-D

Them: "AI, please will you fix climate change"
AI: "No Problem, I would love to help fix climate change. Climate change is the biggest threat to the planet that humanity has ever experienced... [massive AI monologue that nobody asked for continues]... and I have come to the conclusion that the biggest contributor to green house gases is humanity itself. Therefore, we should kill all humans and the problem will rectify itself."

The other day I was arguing with a colleague, & I said that I thought 95% of the funds getting thrown at AI would be better spent strengthening infrastructure to handle climate change. He said “AI will fix climate change.”

Now I think 100% of those funds should be redirected.

@sotolf Same, but I have no transparency, I don't use a compositor at all. I don't feel as if I'm missing anything either.

FYI: A critical heap overflow vulnerability has been discovered in libwebp that is being actively exploited in the wild and potentially allows for remote code execution. This affects at least all the popular browsers and Electron-based apps, including messengers such as Signal and Telegram, and additionally LibreOffice. Organic Maps is not affected.
