Hi, I am Patryk, I am blind, I am interested in #python #macOS and #audiogames and #accessibility. tfr
hi. I cant be here on this server anymore, any servers where I should join?
I am bored.
Heya.
anyone has an experience with this, I have a problem, because for now, my mom needs to help me on.
but I will need to be able to do it without her help, as we will travel somewhere only me and dad, and there will be noone to help me with that.
I love the experience if I could choose to be in car, or on this great and fun motocycle I would ofcourse choose it, as it is so fun, I am always smiling when I ride like this.
btw I tried this one before with a seller, who took me for a test ride.
my dad likes it too, as he likes to drive, he is a pro driver on everything lol, he always drives responsibly, and with him, it is inpossible to fall off, unless you are not hugging him, lol.
this man who took me for a ride was so carefull that he drove as slow as possible, lol.
I recovered my acc yesterday.
@Quietgirl82 not always, you sometimes need that person who will understand you, and who thinks you are great.
I know, because I experienced lonelyness through most off my life.
I had graduated the school and I will search for a job after I'll take 2 months off.
I would like then to get some ideas.
I am a techy person, but I don't like networking, I know the basics, but it is stil a nogo for me, especially that IP addresses and such are just plain math.
I am great with screenreaders, my slogan is if this device has a screenreader I can use it.
if I even don't know a dam about it, I can learn really quickly, as I know all 3 major operating systems and their style of work, and I had a test of some speaking devices.
example, blindshell 2, the Polish version, but I could use English one with ease, unless the keys are different, then I'll just check the instructions.
I have an iPhone, which is decent enough to run latest IOS, I hate every old and not updated piece off software.
I can use windows and macOS reliably, but linux only in ssh terminal, unless I will get paid extra for orca's annoyances.
I am really fast at typing, but I don't want a job which includes only writing, as my grammar is not the best, especially in Polish, for some weird reason I can write English better than Polish.
I can be also usefull in detecting tts generated content, unless it is 11 labs or similar technology, as it is harder to detect, and my current metodology doesn't flag those.
I like to work in some #accessibility field, but only taking into account #blind people, as I am blind myself.
@dangero yeah, the dev didn't deserved this.
he deserved monthly donations, which I will probably make, when I will be able to.
From an Android user’s perspective, I quite like Speech Central after using it for only 10 minutes, 1 minut of that time used to set up the app. I’m sorry to hear the developer’s being ghosted like this. Personally, I will recommend this app to anyone looking for a book reading app. #A11y #Accessibility #books
@Piciok yeah, sadly no Polish there.
my battle tag got hacked.
now I don't have what to play.
and I have many time to spend.
this sucks.
@bryn really borked.
@Kaliah my parents always do that.
what #FediVerse software I should try next? I criticize #mastodon for article word on every post, and for clutter, #snac for minimal and stripped down aproach, pleroma for notifications not being separate tab now what?
@grunfink @pax@comam.es really bad.
@pax@comam.es yeah, and replying is not possible with a screenreader. I dont like this.
How I handle inaccessibility issues. Stage one, you get a polite message from me, informing you that there’s a problem and suggesting ways to fix it. Stage two, if you’ve ignored me, you get a far less polite message telling you to get your act together and fix your problems. Stage three, if you continue to ignore me, I will call you out publicly.
Do I feel bad for publicly calling out a company over their accessibility practices after they blatantly ignored multiple messages? Nope, not 1 ounce.
@9to5linux great, now just wait for utm to come in and use it.
