@davidgerard The recommendations in the report are certainly … something. PwC recommend that the municipality should use “generative and agentic AI” for case handling, automating archival systems, answering enquiries, and developing “adaptive courses for employees”.

@davidgerard Did you see that there’s an update to the saga about Tromsø municipality (the ones who used AI to write a report that proposed closing some schools, complete with made-up sources)? @42thinking @blinry Manchmal hört man immer noch die alte Zählweise («toogførti»). Ziemlich selten und – wie alles im Norwegischen – abhängig vom Dialekt, aber es ist mir definitiv schon untergekommen.
@HaTetsu @maartje Ever since having a kid, I’ve actually started paying for first class specifically because of regional trains without seat reservations. Sure, the seats are the same as in second class, but in reality you need to compare them to standing in the aisle for two hours with a toddler on your arm.
