The "Hotwire Native" book by @joemasilotti displays perfectly on my @remarkablepaper. Really enjoying all of Rails 8 goodness!

Like many, I once bought a domain with the dream of creating something wonderful. That idea never materialized, and I'm now focused on Phlex. Therefore, the excellent domain name https://viewcomponents.com is up for sale.
These moments where you think it's Monday, but in fact it's already Tuesday. Also connected my Bluesky account in @typefully and wanted to test if this is all working as expected. You can find me here btw: https://bsky.app/profile/nex13.com
Super excited to see the response to the Spain Triangle Project being so good. 60+ registrations already for Barcelona and Valencia. Madrid is not using Meetup, so missing from the screenshot. There are almost 40 people joining there too. @RubyEurope is gaining momentum and I love it!
I decided to fork the last BSD version to https://github.com/peterberkenbosch/bsdcommerce so anyone who still wants to use Spree can do so without any licensing deals or signing CLA agreements.
So this happened https://github.com/spree/spree/pull/12144 be aware! With all the WP drama, if you want to be safe fork from the commit before this if you want to make a business from open source @spreecommerce. It's what @valkey_io is after Redis changed their license.
I love supporting content creators. They invest a lot of time sharing knowledge for free, so if there's a paid option, consider subscribing to support them. I recently got a yearly subscription to @yarotheslav's amazing content. Check it out at https://superails.com/!
The perfect app name for the Neovim workshop by @typecraft_dev #RailsWorld
Fun experience, starting with @SolidusIO on Rails main branch and wondering why it does not work, since I thought I fixed support for Rails main... well that was 11 months ago.. :) New PR incoming :D
Loads of exciting plans are being made! I might actually have this final authentication bit released this weekend for #learnsolidus as well. Exited to move into the ViewComponents part of building a custom fully restfull frontend with that. #typefully
Bundler experts! Why would a gem not being updated with issuing a "bundle update gemname", but will be updated with the global "bundle update" call? I'm running into this with using Solidus on the main branch, but without installing the frontend gem. #typefully
Did @X cleaned up some bots? Or was it something I said? ;) #typefully
This has been a while... Hotwire and Turbo Native ftw here! Building iOS and Android native apps in progress! #typefully
Getting ready to publish the authentication part for #learnsolidus. Updated https://learnsolidus.com so it does not look so plain anymore. Spend a lot of time applying to job openings, writing cover letters and preparing for interviews. More updates soon! #typefully
Getting a Sitepress static site up and running was a breeze. It's super plain and not very slick yet, but we are up and running for #learnsolidus here: https://LearnSolidus.com, syntax highlighting and using markdown for my content. Now finishing custom auth content! #typefully
More and more US tech companies only hire in the US now. I wonder why that is. For fintech I understand that compliance and background checks are a thing and not really that easy for international contractors. Curious to hear opinions, just send my applications anyway? #typefully
Focus on mental health, interviewing, and writing cover letters and applications for the next few days. I also put the introduction for the #LearnSolidus newsletter here: https://gist.github.com/peterberkenbosch/04e0861c3c1c11273f978f591351bde3. If this resonates with you, you can sign up at https://LearnSolidus.com. #typefully
Adding authentication in Rails feels like a breath of fresh air. Platforms like @SolidusIO, built for customization, make it straightforward to implement custom authentication in your unique e-commerce application. #typefully #learnsolidus https://guides.solidus.io/next/advanced-solidus/custom-authentication
Also working on a proper landing page for #learnsolidus where the outline that was send in the first newsletter email will be listed. Really valuable feedback from @lucianghinda. Also joining the 30 days 30 post from @typefully will also do that for the SolidusBook! #typefully
