Our sincerest apologies for the 10-minute outage we experienced today as our server ran out of disk space.

This was due to the synchronization of a very large channel (almost 800 PHP videos coming soon!) in combination with some of PeerTube's limitations.

We have already put measures in place to automatically mitigate this issue in the future, and are working to improve this further.

There's now a lot of PHP video content available on the fediverse thanks to @phpc_tv

I've set foss.video to follow that PeerTube instance so that content is discoverable there too:

@webaware Just to clarify, "live" means whether it allows livestreams. The "health" column is a green smiley showing 100% uptime on hover.

Are you trying this through an addon? A few screenshots would help as I never used Kodi before.

We're aware that many videos display a "Transcoding in progress" message. Most of these should still play, but will not be available in all resolutions. If a video is not playing or has no sound, save it to "Watch later".

The underlying issue was permanently resolved, but it will take a few hours for all the resolutions to be ready and for the message to go away. We also added one more server to help catch up, bringing the total to 4 maxed out servers for this task.

Maintenance is complete. Enjoy!

@Njames Ah yes, it's a very recent domain name! Sorry about your experience.

The server will be briefly shut down in 15 minutes to increase available resources.

@Njames Did this happen only once or does it keep happening? Also do you use a VPN or a proxy?

- We're now federating! You can follow accounts and channels from Mastodon and other Fediverse platforms. Example search: channel@phpc.tv

- Registrations are open to the public! Users will need to wait for approval like on phpc.social. We temporarily set a user count limit, but if all goes smoothly, we'll lift it.

@oj Federation is enabled, but for some reason, not all handles resolve (tried on phpc.social). Not sure if it's a Cloudflare bot protection issue or something else. Haven't seen many federation requests, but I have seen some. Maybe other instances do it infrequently and it needs time to propagate. Currently working on exactly this issue, actually.
