Just got laid off
@mrpresidenttom great minds think alike
@nobushia here's a great discord channel with people who can answer IT career questions (including infosec) https://discord.gg/CB8DMrr
@thrick A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time would definitely be in the top 2. Hard to decide on the third, many great games competing. Maybe specifically for a Breath of the Wild player I might say Majora's Mask because it really shows how Breath of the Wild side quests are lacking.
@thrick Breath of the Wild is far from the best of the series. You have some real gems awaiting you.
@YellowFlower42 I used to have a cassette with a 3.5 mm connector to plug into my mp3 player. Sounded clearer than the 3.5 mm to radio devices on the old '87 car I had. I'd love to put newer stuff actually on to cassettes. What are you using? I was kinda thinking it would be a tedious process.
@YellowFlower42 My theory was that after the recent Stranger Things season nostalgia for cassette tapes would rise and they might see a resurgence like vinyl.
@Duckbill4994 it sounds great, and based on what I was hearing at kubecon, it's the future that many organizations are going. However I don't agree with making business decisions strictly on technical grounds. Like a business saying they only use Linux and that puts a network appliance running freebsd that would be perfect for their use case out of consideration. However, I fully support an Architecture Decision record being created for using k8s for the entire infrastructure.
@Duckbill4994 Kubernetes is now it's own full ecosystem, more than just a tool, but the way this question is phrased is not how we design infrastructure in general.
@thrick I used to run pfsense on an old thin client with an extra network card. Now I have an EdgeRouter, but if I would do it again I would go with VyOS
@thrick VyOS
@mikejolley time to start shopping for some Zelda games...
@nobushia decentralized authentication would be good
@nobushia LineageOS works greats on pixels
@thrick Nerevarine Prophecies is the server I play on
@selea thanks for shutting down registrations before things became unresponsive.
@mff my only Docker Swarm experience was before k8s for windows was GA. I highly recommend moving on.
