At this point it should be abundantly clear that police will not defend #LGBTQIA events from fascists. Even if you are not a fully ACAB, the track record is clear: We keep us safe.

If I heard that a #drag event had refused community support and was relying on police, or had no plans for fash other than calling cops, I would personally recommend staying home (if you can't talk organizers into a better position).

Bulk quality pepper spray has a really great cost/benefit ratio for community defense. We are doing another bulk order for distribution to mutual aid and other community activism efforts.

The brands we generally recommend are saber Red, Fox Labs, and POM. Not all pepper spray is made equal so you want to make sure you get some particularly spicy stuff.

Stream is generally better than fogger or gel because it has the right mix of distance and splash for effectiveness against a determined attacker.

Quality personal defense pepper spray is generally better suited for day to day than what you can get for bear spray. If you mention wasp spray in these comments, you might just catch a block.

This is good, but be skeptical of any formation unless you know the people involved, or they have demonstrated they are more than a social media account through action.

There are many fun ways to help lower property values in your community:

-Dont mow your lawn
-Dont rake up leaves
-Dont repaint your house
-Put furniture / broken cars in your yard
-Feed stray cats
-Blast loud music (at legal volume limits) -have bloc parties in your yard and in empty lots
-Feed the hungry in your front lawn
-Gun owners: pop off a few rounds into the dirt a few nights a week
-Tag graphitti on the walls of unoccupied and/or commercial buildings, billboards etc.
-Smash the windows of forclosed homes. AirBnB's or the vacant property of real estate companies
-Habitually trespass upon / squat abandoned buildings
-If you get in trouble with code enforcers and/or neighborhood associations, come to their meetings with a group of friends and shout about how your freedoms are being trampled upon by a tyrannical government and record it, name and shame power tripping city officials and snitch neighbors until they resign/move
