At approximately 3:45 PDT (10:45 UTC), our main router stopped responding. Unfortunately this took all Raphus Social services offline until the router could be restored. We were able to fully restore all services at 6:39 PDT (13:39 UTC).

Now everyone on Raphus Social can make posts up to 1024 characters, and polls with up to 8 options.

📣 Raphus Social Outage Report
Last night at about 1 AM PDT (8 AM GMT), during an automated backup, Raphus Social’s main database shutdown down. Everything is back up now, and it does not appear that there’s any loss of data, we just were offline for approximately 5 hours. We are still investigating the root cause and will implement whatever precautions we can to prevent a similar outage.

Rather than running ads, Raphus Social :raphus: operates solely on donations. We’re dedicated to ensuring that safe and welcoming social media exists, and every dollar helps ensure that.
Currently, donations cover about a third of our operating costs.

Raphus Social :raphus: has now been upgraded to Mastodon :mastodon: 4.3 beta. This is a big release that brings a host of new features, most notably new notification settings such as grouping and filtering. :mastodondance:
