I mostly toot about Mac, iOS, and the Apple ecosystem.
@nikitonsky @marioguzman yeah they did!
It’s insane how much clarity we have here. I can also see everything so clearly without having to enable accessibility options. Wow! 🤩 https://mastodon.social/@realmacdan/113792374380828124
Yup, that needs work!

Can we please have the macOS X Lion UI back? 😍
@adrian @freshmango @shadeed9 @matthiasott you should check out RapidWeaver Elements for Mac. It’s based on Tailwind CSS, and allows you to visually build websites with clean semantic output👌
@robb same, it looks 👌
@mattgemmell I’m guessing you’re at center parcs, I recognise the wallpaper 🫣 Been going there for years with my own kids. Enjoy the waves and slides ☺️
@andyn oooh, I’m intrigued by folding phones. What’s your initial impression? Is this the future or just a gimmick?
We post weekly Dev Diaries on YouTube as we build Elements app in the open. Been doing it for the past few years.
Now, you can follow our Revenue Review series in its own playlist, a behind-the-scenes look at building a million-dollar Mac app 💸🤞

I'm a developer teaching Webflow to future designers at university and let me tell you... @RapidWeaver Elements is already 100 times better in the current beta state than Webflow. Way better performances, nicer architecture (tailwind, alpine, twig, etc), easier to customise and extend, and best of all you don't have to sell a kidney for hosting.
Unfortunately I won't be able to use it as our main teaching platform since it's Mac only, but I'll for sure start recommending it to our alumni.
@andyn Same!
With how user-hostile Windows and macOS are, is it any wonder people long for computers from the ’80s and ’90s?
Every so often people yearn for a lost (1980s or so) era of 'single user computers', whether these are simple personal computers or high end things like Lisp machines and Smalltalk workstations. It's my view
@bonumdesign Oh hey 👋
Nope, it wasn't unexpected.
@maxrudberg Or perhaps an iBook for short 🤣
Every week I post a dev diary video on YouTube showing our progress building Elements for Mac (a native Tailwind website builder).
This week I showed exactly how much we’re making and how many paying subscribers we have. If you're a Mac dev, you might find it interesting.
👋 I put together a Mac OS X Tiger inspired wallpaper pack, coinciding with Tiger's 20th anniversary this month!
- 8 Colours
- P3
- Desktop (6K), Mobile and Tablet Variants
- Light & Dark Mode for all
Made in @Sketch naturally 💎
Enjoy! 😀
@andyn very nice! Did you use an iPhone before? If so, how have you found the switch?
retroStrip 1.2 is out. Why listen to the news when you can have Platinum sounds?
