Facts matter. 🇺🇦

Between 2014 and 2022 Ukraine held 200 talks with Russia, reaching 20 cease-fire agreements.

Russia violated all of these, leading to Putin's invasion on 2.24.2022.

Those advocating for negotiations are either uninformed, misled or aligned with Russia.

I think flooding the internet with pictures of President #Zelensky meeting a real #King namely King #Charles of the #UK, would really annoy a certain orange mass.

In front of a building: An old white man with white hair in a grey suit (King Charles) shakes the hand of a dark-haired, white, middle-aged man with a short beard in a black jumper and black trousers (President Zelensky)

mesirii@chaos.social The idea is to write a short story about a pilot who hauls cargo from a faraway planet to Earth. I think it's an okay future, with a twist in the sense of automation and such things.

Kind of a c't magazine short story, probably not longer than that.

A large, futuristic cargo spaceship travels through the vast blackness of space. Its cargo hold is closed, and it's carrying a large amount of ore.

Let me become an author now...

Women sitting in a cockpit of a cargo spaceship, looking out of the window and seeing a large space station in the shape of a large cross. Some sun glare in the background.

I am so in love.

The ability to create convincing sci-fi images with AI... awesome. Full geek mode.

A view from the center of a cargo spaceship's hold, revealing a vast expanse of stacked materials and machinery, a chaotic yet organized assortment of cargo that fills the space left and right.

For our open-source test automation project Neodymium, we introduced #Lighthouse support for advanced accessibility and performance testing. Because we include Lighthouse support, we got listed on the project page of Lighthouse on GitHub: github.com/GoogleChrome/lighth 🎉

Run Lighthouse reports as part of test execution. The best, you can assert the information to ensure WCAG rules or performance numbers aren't broken.

No excuses anymore, just results! 🐧🐧🐧🐧

More: xceptance.com/neodymium/

A screenshot that shows the integration of Lighthouse result in Neodymium reports.

Detailed description: Screenshot of a Lighthouse report for posters.xceptance.io:8443. Report shows circular score indicators for Performance (81), Accessibility (85), Best Practices (100), and SEO (83). Performance section highlights FCP 1.0s, LCP 2.6s, TBT 0ms, CLS 0.032, and a screenshot of the website. Diagnostics list issues like 'Use HTTP/2' and 'Eliminate render-blocking resources'.

How fast can you process a billion rows? The 1BRC challenge went viral in January 2024. While the original solution delivered insane speed but likely resulted in hard-to-maintain code, this talk will guide you through initial tuning steps to achieve a 5x speed improvement. You'll learn about the JDK, the JVM, and your hardware, gaining insights you can apply to everyday challenges.

You'll also learn when not to do that!

P..S. It is a talk without AI!
