A Simple Arctic Fox
Happy Birthday to the best bunny in the world. @adeserthare - Many happy returns!
We may have a rabbit infestation...
*taps microphone* Is this thing on?
It's been a while, it has been a very busy season.
@onlyhavecans I hope you heal quickly. Burns are no fun.
@keirFox wiffy booster anyone?
@adeserthare Too Late… But a shower after dinner is in order.
@duncandahusky I hope not!
Always remember to turn the water off before opening the drain valve… I should make a sign...
We're heading south for the rest of winter, which means that we have to drain and power down the water heaters, flush the pipes, and turn off the water well in order to keep the pipes in the three buildings from freezing while we are gone.
To simplify this task I have installed various valves and drains to empty the water lines…
While emptying one of the cottages today, I pulled the wrong valve first and soaked myself through my clothing…
Reminder - turn the water supply valve off first then open the low point drain when flushing the other two buildings...
@adeserthare says you. We may not even be here!
Packing up all the holiday decorations for the season…
Hubby and I traveled well over 22,000 miles this year between our Airstream and WolfPack travel trailers and an additional couple thousand miles by air…
We didn't make it to FurFest, but there is always next year.
We did visit Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Seattle more than once by a bunch.
According to my journal we spent more than 2/3rd of the year on the road. Not bad.
We're currently in the process of planning our 2025 Travel - Currently the only known items are work events and virtual events. On the wish list are Wruffin’ Itm FurryMigration, Camp K-9, BFC, MFF - but work will dictate what fun events we attend.
@twigmouse I believe that might have been a bunny who introduced the culprit as mice in that chat…
@VeeTheGator I pulled the lines and have put things on Wi-Fi instead of wired until I can fix.
Little fuzzy bastards (wild rabbits) are chewing my overground temporary ethernet cables. This cable connected the camper to the network. Was chewed night before Christmas.
They also took out two ethernet cables zip tied to a pole connecting two cameras to the network. Those wires will be placed in conduit when we return from our trip to Reno.
There are a dozen bite marks on the photoed cable.
@toastedlynx You completely fooled me!
*Vibrates* Heading to Reno this weekend to see critters!
I hope everyone had a fun FurFest and the travel wasn’t too much of a hassle this go around. Maybe next year I’ll be able to join again. This past FurFest I was in Las Vegas with a bunch of other critters for the AWS re:Invent show.
@opsnlops I was just there last night for a corporate function!
@onlyhavecans It’s one of those events where if you were there you get it…you were in the room when it happened…
