Lighton said that several scenes from the film were cut from the version that was shown during its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, and that there could be some more cuts to ensure the film gets released in the United States. Skarsgård added: "There's definitely a raunchier version of this movie... what you've seen is the family friendly version... there's also the Alexander Skarsgård cut."

Speaking to Variety following the film's premiere, Lighton explained:

»It was purely because I didn't want to push the audience into feeling they were being deliberately shocked by an image. So for example, there was one close up of a dick, a hard dick... like down the barrel of the lens. And after watching the film on that 'fuck-off' screen I thought, yeah, cutting it was probably the right decision!«

Am westlichen Ende des Tunnelbahnhofs müssen Teile der tragenden Deckenkonstruktion erneuert werden.

The Eagle Bar in Manchester has a pair of wings airbrushed to the wall for people to take pictures in front of, so here's me in my street clothes, rain coat and puppy hood in front of those wings.

Slightly different angle, and landscape orientation, so the wings fit on the picture in their (almost) entirety.

France's language watchdog has told government officials to use French gaming terms instead of English ones.

The Académie Française says "jeu video de competition" should replace "e-sports", and "streamer" should become "joueur-animateur en direct".

France's culture ministry told the AFP news agency that Anglicisms were "a barrier to understanding".

But gamers have criticised the ban, with one calling it "completely pointless".

France regularly issues warnings of the "debasement" of its language through imported English words.

Other official translations include "jeu video en nuage" for "cloud gaming".
