@axemonkey Squire (Fender) every now and then makes what they called FSR models (Fender Special Run) which are a short run of a step above the standard runs in quality, finish etc. The Indonesian made ones are particularly well finished. I bought a Telecaster Thin Line about a year ago from Anderton’s (a FSR made exclusively for them) for £300 and after a few upgrades (something a beginner wouldn’t need to worry about) it is one of my favourite guitars.

We live in a world of HD, 4K, HDR etc where big files are something inevitable so data size isn’t really the problem, storage is huge and relatively inexpensive these days, however, traffic is the key issue and it’s what users should be mindful when sharing content in an open source platform like this one.

@johnleonard @npg Thanks, glad you like ‘em 😊 Direct streaming would be nice indeed though I’m sure it’s something the developer(s) have in the pipeline as it’d be better than storing more and more data in their servers, which I’m also sure they are already being upgraded due to the fast growing number of new accounts. But more importantly, the location and condition of those servers (connectivity, mirroring, redundancy, power backups) is what needs to be… (1 of 2)
