that's only enough mass for a black hole 0.6mm in diameter

I have written dozens if not hundreds of linear interpolation functions in my career. If my life depended on it, I cannot even begin to tell you what the actual lerp formula is. I have to look it up *every time*.
Just in case you were insecure about your programming skills, I still have to google the basics after 15 years of this.
I've had to learn about shared pipes, linux thread and process management, file IO, rendering techniques, and probably some other stuff. It's been a lot of fun
Also I got so annoyed at having to stop programming to go touch the target device that I built a whole ass input simulator so I can run a test on the remote tablet and screenshots magically appear on my computer.
Honestly at this point I've lost all track of why I'm building this program, it's just an interesting project in and of itself.
Hey Linux users: anyone know of a decent application to *inspect* images? I don't need an editor, really, I just want to see all properties (channels, colorspace, etc) of an image and inspect pixel values.
So far the only way I've found is Gimp, which is absurdly overkill for this.
Anyway, I went and did a thing. I tore apart and reworked this framework's bitmap renderer to actually support transparency and alpha blending. I'm unreasonably pleased with this result
Also lmao I'm not accepting any follow requests from that computer post. I have enough insufferable nerds in my timeline
Given all the Linux Reply Guys in my notifications, I have this observation:
There are no Reply Girls. Even if you're a woman, you're a Reply Guy in the most derogatory sense.
congratulations or I'm sorry, I ain't reading all that
oh no
@coucouf I've used Plasma daily for at least five years.
KDE does not meet the stated requirements.
Let's all be honest with ourselves for a moment. The thing that 99% of computer users want is something that *looks* like Windows 7 or XP (or Mac equivalent) and that *never changes*. Nobody cares or wants to know what happens under the hood, they just want to Do Computer and they want to do it in a way that is comfortable and *doesn't fucking change all the time*
Sure, but can Wayland do *this*?
[turns off headphones, taskbar, wifi, audio, bluetooth stacks all crash]

There's been a specific doe hanging out around my yard for a few months. I think she's either old or sick, and she's usually all on her own. She was munching on the wild grapes today when my dog went outside.
Dog obviously wanted to chase away the strange animal, but since the deer is three times her size, she didn't know what do do other than run into the trees lmao.
I had to open the gate and shoo the deer away so the dog could use the bathroom
"Hey babe, what's this monthly $63 bill from 'automated stream inc'? Is that some Twitch thing?"
'No, that's our gutters.'
"...what"
'The company that installed the gutters bills through this company'
"*whaT*"
