To be honest, I'm a little hesitant, and even embarrassed at times, to refer to myself as transhuman. It's met with so many stereotypes and misunderstandings, and beyond that, a LOT of people who call themselves "transhumanist" are nothing more than consumerist tech-fetishists. Or worse.
