I made a stand for Pimoroni Pico Display Pack 2.8".
I also used this display to create a notification monitor for Misskey (SNS software that communicates using the same Activity Pub protocol as Mastodon).
I'm connecting to Misskey using a websocket to receive real-time notifications and display custom emojis called reactions!

@rpimag I've been updating the code to work on the latest version of my UART boot RP2350 board.
@rpimag recently finished working on a spit mechanical keyboard with a Pico in each side. Iβm just about to start assembling a 30% staggered split version that has the Picoβs on display on top of the keyboard!

Learning the CBUS protocol to control a model railway, and then creating a GUI app in Python.

Writing an article for @rpimag about Picomite... It's pretty amazing that I have a really nicely featured boot to basic machine running with just a standard Pico H... with a cheapo SD card reader attached it has 16GB of storage! It's also sort of not oldschool somehow, it's a very feature rich #basic! #retrocomputing

This weekend I create a portable, offline AI you can talk to - I call it Thinkman. It uses Vosk for speech recognition and eSpeak-Ng to talk. It sends your questions to an Ollama AI running Deepseek on the Pi 5 inside!.
