The occupation of the West Bank and Gaza has been one of the world's most widely reported yet least understood human rights crises for over four decades. In this oral history collection, men and women from Palestine—including a fisherman, a settlement administrator, and a marathon runner—describe in their own words how their lives have been shaped by the historic crisis.
In the first day emerging from the temporary cease fire, the IDF has prioritized murdering Palestinian journalists (and their entire families), using tons of bombs on residential buildings housing hundreds of innocent civilians, and bombing Doctors Without Borders' medical convoys.
Polls show normal, everyday Democratic voters overwhelmingly support cease fires, & oppose Netanyahu's bombing of Gaza. Our leaders won't listen.

TIL that in 1981 Diane Feinstein reinstated a Confederate flag in the Civic Center as part of a display of 'historical' flags.
The Confederate flag had initially been removed from this display by protesters and civil rights activists back in the late 60s, when it was first erected.
In 1984, a Black man named Richard Bradley climbed the pole and ripped down the Stars & Bars. He was *promptly* arrested and Mayor Diane Feinstein put the Confederate flag back up!
Luckily, a scrappy group of protesters just pulled down the whole flag pole.
I know there are lots of high points in her legacy but dang. To go to the mat for the Confederate flag??? WTF.
Federal court of appeal judges, all appointed by Trump, have ruled that Idaho’s ER physicians can face prosecution if they perform an abortion to stabilize a patient, unless their actions qualify for the strict exception that states an abortion can be performed to “prevent the death of the pregnant woman.” The GOP is not the party of freedom.
