Just used ChatGPT to create a .muttrc file that looks like Telix.
@tpheine 11 hours with downloads/backups.
Well, I have now tested my backup.
Had to backup/restore a friends VM, took me 11 hours.
Have lost my taste for coffee lately.
Also lost the taste for bourbon.
Nothing tastes particular good.
backing up a VM so that I can remove the VMs and then add the host to a Proxmox cluster.
It is peaceful while the backups are being done, but afterwards I need to get my ass in gear.
@ScottStarkey I miss those hoosier tenderloins.
The rest of the world is missing out.
Seems like I got rid of the gremlin in my network. The T-mobile 5g box seems to have an issue sometimes with transfers between the wireless and the wired connections.
Put a Mikrotik in the mix to help. Doubt this is the only thing I will need to do, but a good first try.
Was able to backup my laptop to the zVault server using restic.
Okay, NetBSD installed, but they keyboard was not working.
Installed OpenBSD instead.
Wiped 2 systems and reloaded with freebsd at home.
Got behave working on one of them.
Might wipe the second one and load NetBSD as it has been a while since I ran it.
Yup, that is what I will do….brb
Was getting errors on my nvme drive, but couldn't tell which one was giving the errors.
Pulled the oldest one (by a month) and left the other.
That took care of it. Now I am down 500gb on machine, but at least I took care of the errors.
Not trying to sounds like a sponsored ad, but I have to say that I am really happy with my #Razer gaming chair. When initially sitting in it the foam/padding seems to stiff, but with it being stiff, I give great lumbar support.
Feeling like an idiot, but can't get bind/named working on a freebsd server.
Keep getting that the server is lame.
So rusty after a few years...
Dear Lazyweb,
If you were going in setup a new name server, would you use BIND or PowerDNS or something else?
Been testing #cloudpanel lately. Works well, but doesn't do email of DNS, so if I change to it, I need to setup DNS and email.
Wondering if I want to go about doing that or just stick with #virtualmin.
@catsalad after being known for wearing 3 watches back in the Swatch days, I could get in to this.
who has tried #zVault, the successor to TrueNAS Core (FreeBSD-based)?
@phessler Yeah, the verification email is new for the portal.
I have learned my lesson.
Anyone have a contact at NOCIX/WholesaleInternet?
My server is down, but I can't submit a ticket because the verify email for the account...is sending to my down server.
Hoping this doesn't require me to move to a new provider.
@stefano So how far have you gotten?
Any snags along the way?
Any features you not expecting it to do but it does?
