There's a couple regarding enums:
https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/82840
https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/83283
https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/82226
https://github.com/ubuntu/authd/security/advisories/GHSA-g8qw-mgjx-rwjr
When a user who hasn't logged in to the system before (i.e. doesn't exist in the authd user database) logs in via SSH, the user is considered a member of the root group in the context of the SSH session. That leads to a local privilege escalation if the user should not have root privileges.
It's odd that I'm just remembering #python has a "match" (switch-style) expression.
BUT it doesn't work properly with "constants" and still (in 2025) is x2 SLOWER! than if/elif statements π
Combine that with the "Enum" class and it's ~x3-4 SLOWER!
Friday meetings really be killing me π

Repost to inflict severe mental damage on toys and robots
and therians
@ulveon yup, like you don't need that dammit
@secfurry you said it why does EVERYTHING have to be on the Internet
@Cal @sleepyhead we all know why lol
@sleepyhead @Cal 1000% I just wish that there was an "Internet Access" perm. Some apps never need that
This is why no browsers should ever be able to connect to local ports if the primary URL isnβt localhost
Also, there should def be a βnetworkβ or βinternet accessβ permission for apps
Almost 3am thought. I remember thinking while transitioning I wouldnβt really want boobs.
But now itβs grown on me π
@kel_and_pim thankies π i had a fun ass time, i try to do as many as I can haha
