@bugbear I'm on a bunch of webrings, and am very IndieWeb pilled, but even I don't use webrings for discovery (maybe to my detriment). It's as you've put it... more of a community/badge-ey kinda thing for me. I still use social media a lot for discovery. I should put some thought into this though and how I can start to shift more of my dependence on social as a means to discover the web back to using the web to discover the web... 🤔
