Moved the category filter to the bottom of the screen so it’s within reach and tweaked the appearance slightly. It’s starting to feel the way I want it to.

@finnvoorhees Looks great! I really oughta do a horizontal Emoji Picker-like category selector but I got a bit lazy 🙈
Working on a simple SF Symbol picker for this side project.
@xavierLowmiller I ended up ordering a La Marzocco Linea Mini R.
Just got the mail that my new espresso machine is available for pickup tomorrow. What a great Christmas present 🫨
Probably won't be able to pick it up until after Christmas, though, as I'm visiting family, but I'll have that to look forward to then 🤗
Festivitas reminds me that we’re very close to Christmas Eve 🎄🤗
@helge Coming from an XC90, I don’t think it’s size is too bad. I agree that it might not be so tech oriented but the only one I’ve found that satisfies that desire is the Polestar 4 but Polestar’s software quality and reputation is a bit iffy these days. The Polestar is a hell of a car, though.
Prior to the movie marathon, I picked up winter tees so I can go golfing in the next few days. I also test drove an ID.7. Great day.
The ID.7 was really good. Quite reminiscent of the Polestar 4 in the way it lays on the road but feels less sporty. The cabin’s a bit too low, but overall I liked the ID.7 better than the ID.4. Everything feels a tad more polished.
I spent the afternoon and evening watching The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, The Santa Clause 3, and Elf. So yeah, it’s been a good day ☺️🎄
@cweirup That’s also what I’ve ended up concluding. Thanks for the advice, though, with CitizenM getting acquired by Marriott I’ll risk dealing with Marriott quite a bit.
@jamesthomson At this point, I’m convinced they NEED it 😀
@jamesthomson Thank you! (And likewise for your Dice post 🤗)

Would appreciate boosts to help spread a bit of holiday cheer to those who haven’t tried Festivitas yet 🤗
The weekend before Christmas Eve is here. What better time to decorate your Mac with festive lights and falling snow? 🎄❄️

Dice by PCalc 2.9 is out now!
My #ttrpg dice rolling app now fully supports all the 26 OS updates and has a shiny Liquid Glass redesign.
I've also reworked the reroll function, so it remembers the starting state of the last dice roll, including advantage, disadvantage, and any dice functions. Exploding dice now work properly too, and actually explode!
@dimsumthinking I bet you’re right! I’m probably not experienced enough with sourdough to make the analogy but found it mildly funny nonetheless. I baked a bit with a sourdough four years ago. Hoping go get back into it next year, though.
Am I the only one who’s watched enough Lost and The Walking Dead to not want to invest more than one episode in Pluribus?
Your algorithm is like sourdough: you must feed it every day.
One of my Twinkly string lights is broken. I contacted their support last week and they promptly replied asking for several photos and videos of the issue along with other details. I supplied it the day after and now they’ve been ghosting me for a week.
I guess I cannot recommend Twinkly products anymore 😔
