FIXED - Compatibility issues with Android v35's edge-to-edge display FIXED - Resolved a crash in Signal K path binding and fixed the issue where units weren't selected after previous selections
FIXED - If Signal K units meta was unspecified, SKipper will now correctly convert numbers to the appropriate units
FIXED - Graph control had problems with Y-axis labels when set to Seconds, Hours, and/or Days; a new Y-axis Date label now shows the full date of data points.

I’m excited to announce the new release of the SKipper v24, a multi-platform program for displaying Signal K data. Here are a few highlights:

NEW: UI - new themes setting, Dark Red (low light) theme, ability to hide icon bar, remote control from another instance or Node Red!
NEW: Grid layout - new setting Auto rotate, adaptive grid page experience.
NEW: Templates - enhanced, easy to customize bindings
NEW: Modern Compass - redesigned with displays!

The new version 24 of #SKipperApp is coming soon to all supported platforms. Key features include easy one-click binding to SK with automatic settings, new theme options including a Dark Red mode for low light, and an adaptive grid layout that responds to device orientation. Users can now hide the icon bar and enjoy enhanced template customization with correct unit selection. The main menu now features appearance tiles, and the modern compass has been redesigned to display more data.

Improvements include better memory management and a fixed Wind Gauge with reordered properties and colored north/south indicators.

- On Android, we've introduced the option for routine notification checks while the app is running in the background, which is ideal for keeping an eye on your boat overnight or from afar. SKipper will alert you if something is amiss with your vessel!
- A new full-screen mode toggle on Android aids teams using mobile phones and Android displays, enabling them to focus on boat data while reducing the risk of accidentally switching apps while sailing.

Version 23 has been released for Raspberry PI, Linux, and Windows users, with mobile platforms soon to be available in stores.

So, what's new?
- DRM on Linux now includes improved DRM support and software UI rotation capabilities.
- For Windows, Linux, and MacOS, there's now the ability to shut down the system upon exiting the app, which is particularly useful when running Raspberry PI via DRM.

Displays any data from Signal K.
Data can be displayed with any combination of multiple types of gauges; some digital, some analog-looking, and some that are a combination of digital and analog.
