@futzle It depends. Fold In or Fold Out?
Another day, another project.
@futzle It depends. Fold In or Fold Out?
@mwichary This is extremely interesting. I didn’t realize how little I knew about that “futuristic” typeface (and many similar ones) from my childhood in the 1970s. Thanks for sharing.
On m'a fait découvrir cette magnifique écriture créée par @imadetendrilis sur Tiktok, j'adore :blob_cat_flower:
Inside you there are 2 wolves, 1 goat and a cabbage, and you need to cross a river
We lost a little friend today.
@avram Which then clearly inspired the cover art for Atari 2600 Space Invaders, as the painting has way more in common with the Boston cover than the game itself. I’ll never forget those dome-city-flying-saucer hybrids.
@mcc I love this Orz as metaphor so much!
@lcamtuf A fascinating history lesson!
@panic This will affect the workflow at my job, but the company is small enough that I can get them to drop Google Drive instead of Transmit. Thanks for a great app that I used to consider as good as a first party app and these days consider better than a first party app. Thanks for decades (!) of work continuing to make a utility app such a delight to use.
We're very sorry to announce the end of Google Drive support in Transmit. Google's policies requiring time-consuming and expensive annual reviews have made it impossible for us to maintain access.
It's not a decision we took lightly, and one that affects how we use Transmit ourselves, so we're super bummed and extremely sorry.
More details on our blog.

@futzle haha. If you oversleep, you wake up tomorrow! It is an interesting problem. Well then, I’ll settle for just getting rid of Daylight Saving Time. Not sure if they do that where you are.
@futzle PST. So it would be an adjustment for me too.
UTC For Everyone. If we all get used to it, people in the future will think we were mad in the old days.
@hotdogsladies Incredible photo. The detail, the colors, the personality. Nice job.
@dmoren No love for Caledonia?
@rands Thanks so much for sharing this. I don’t know how I never watched this one before now. It’s a great example of Jobs’s exceptional skill of simplifying complex topics into conversational language with no bullshit, while painting a picture of his vision of the future. That then happened, as you said. A fun follow up video is the Q&A at WWDC 1997.
