The *11th circuit court* cited civil rights law when it said that it is racist to stop anyone from having access to VC based on their race, and that setting aside VC for people of a given race is racist.

So they ruled *against* a group of Black women looking to give their own money to Black founders. For violating the civil rights. Of white men that want that 0.3% too.🙂🙃

Got a new vacuum with a laser light up front. It’s now too much fun to vacuum… and I have kittens that leave hair everywhere.

I’m sick of people propagating myths like “it’s not a felony if your home is burglarized when you’re not there” or “the $950 law makes it impossible for criminals to be charged" so police don't want to bring thieves in.

Give me a break. The police is asking for more $$ with these political tactics, and btw, its a felony in CA even if you forgot to lock your door. Also SF is so affluent even a phone is easily $950. Stop blaming it on the rest of the process— it starts with the police.

What makes me the angriest is how skittish and anxious the kittens are after our house got broken in. Their room was ransacked and their space violated.

Void refused to eat much and then puked when she finally got around to eating. She now eats fine but it took a few days. Poor kittens.

I wore slacks today. The kitties did not like it. One ran away from it (when I crouched she’d purr and let me pet), the other attempted to climb it like a tree. Ow my leg.

@eniko depends on your goals. Writing an engine ain’t bad if you don’t need others to use it (and break it). Also if you don’t care about utilizing cutting edge tech. You can also make a game from scratch and end up with a game engine.

But most people want more than a text or 8-bit game, or some semblance of 3D graphics.

Also Churu is kitty crack. What is in it?!?! I could get the cats to follow me whenever I have a tube of Churu in hand.
