@simon I love this! Though I do wonder how you’d avoid maxing out db connections. Seems like running a separate pooling system would go against the simplicity of this approach.

A whole generation of devs now think that anything other than a SPA using a zillion cloud services is weird and suspicious.

@TrevorBramble there is so much garbage yeah. And so many of the videos feel weirdly grifty. Like the crypto mindset has metastasized. It’s cool you’re learning rust. I’ve been playing around with it lately too. I’m slowly figuring out how to do a SSR web app in a comfortable way. If you ever want to chat rust I’m into it.

@TrevorBramble Thank you! I’ll check those out. I know there are literally women YouTubers. But yesterday Ida and I were separately watching YouTube and it was all dudes. In topics like programming, camera reviews, and other things not specifically girl-coded it’s extremely lopsided. From what I’ve heard it’s because of harassment.
