@tubetime My house has a lot of beautiful wood details. Previous owners have tried doing replacements where damages have occurred but I am not very impressed with the results. I think with my 3D modeling skills and a CNC I might be able to improve on the fix attempts.

I am gluten-free and dairy-free so that goal is slow going while I try to find the right bread and cheese. I've found some local croutons that might work, but they are a bit salty. So now I'm in the process of learning to make my own croutons. Size, bread, baking time, and oil used are making a big difference in the taste I am trying to achieve.

I've got a list of cheese options to try too, but one step at a time.

Since the last update on my 2025 goal bingo sheet, I have performed in an aerial show, reviewed a lot more CFP submissions, and entered a 3D model contest. It's frustratingly slow going lately, but that's because I am making slow progress on some of the bigger goals.

If you have to publish a justification for holding your conference in the USA, despite the concerns of potential attendees from other countries, you should stop claiming you're running an international conference.

@1dark1 I'm not sure! I haven't picked up any experience with ABS yet. It may be possible to electroplate the designs and have them stand up to candle heat. I'll have to try that out eventually.

All week I've been designing electronic tea light candle holders for a gothic photoshoot I'm putting together. I wasn't able to find the props I wanted so I am making them myself. Each candle holder in the photoshoot will be unique. So far I've been cautiously experimenting with sidewall shape. I've got 22 more tea lights so there are plenty more opportunities to learn and try new ideas yet.

Created a voronoi candle holder. It still needs some finishing touches, like sanding and maybe some painting, to be complete but I'm really happy with the shape and design. It is 50 mm tall, 65 mm wide, and holds a 45mm by 45 mm electronic candle.

The diffusers on the new LED polyhedron (dihedral hexacontahedron, right) looked so much better than the first build that I had to print new ones for the truncated icosahedron (left). I also synced up the patterns on both builds (with #pixelblaze) and will be sitting here staring at them for the rest of the day.
