@DVM_vet Quite a few articles on the subject available online, including from the Smithsonian and Nat Geo, IIRC. Also, about how caring for the wounded later led to cancer treatments.

@DVM_vet At least one of the #RAMC sergeants who accompanied the Canadian surgeon Major Colin Scott Dafoe on an #SOE mission to eastern Bosnia in 1944 was in Bari when the attack occurred. He suffered minor injuries.
