Admins: Wie stabil läuft es im Alltag? Welchen Aufwand generiert die Software? Wie oft braucht Ihr Support? Was sind die noralgischen Punkte? MySQL oder Postgres? Wie viele User auf der Plattform?

User: Seid Ihr zufrieden? Was läuft nicht? Welche Funktionen vermisst Ihr?

@aufeinohr @phranck Ah, now I get it. As I understood it the new magic keyboard with the lightning cable still requires a bluetooth connection, which can lead to the problem of MacOS getting confused due too many BT peripherals being connected (AirPods etc.)

The question aimed in the direction of finding a replacement, which actually talks to the Mac via the cable.
But, still, this is also my backup plan.

@aufeinohr It's the old, wireless keyboard (using magic was my mistake) with a classical battery bay and no option to plug in @phranck

I am using the mini magical keyboard from 2012 and it is a bit worn out. I simply want a reliable replacement without the bluetooth-fuzz that keeps annoying me.

@rene Thanks! After reading keychron I immediately wondered whether cable-mode is possible. With the magic keyboard, it does not seem to be.
Very unsure about the standard high-travel switches, since I am using the same magic keyboard since 2012. I read a bit about the different switch options. Thanks for pointing me to it.

@haentz Never had a keyboard with that much travel, but maybe I’ll give it a try, thanks. I definitely dig the design.
