@mirahimage sorry no Finnish operator has KISSes so I don't have pictures of that ready, but hopefully the internet can deliver

@eloy you're going to want to watch this one twice as well
@theresnotime @eloy i can neither confirm nor deny this statement
@taavi @theresnotime they're pantographs not straightographs
@theresnotime i don't think pantographs are intended to touch each other during normal operations
damn you all apparently really like cute train photos
fedi have an another photo of FLIRTs kissing, as a treat
@theresnotime you woudn't call me a dork
morning internet

@theresnotime boop!
ok. wow. BobbyBroccoli's nebula original documentary 17 Pages is absolutely worth a watch. this is why you support independent platforms.
@rail :blobhaj_pat:
@airtower @littlefox in general if you don't have status already, Finnair gives 6 points per euro spent (pre-taxes and fees, which add up a lot when flying), and silver requires 15k points/year, so you need to be spending multiple grand a year for it
I'm still barely holding silver from the old system, not that it gives me anything other than lets you jump some queues at airports.. and the next perks are at gold which is 45k points/y
@glitchy404 you wouldn't pirate a drink
@demoographics @theresnotime @littlefox yeah, some of the ferries don't even stop at Mariehamn but on a tiny port on the other side of the island that requires a smaller detour from the Helsinki-Stockholm route
@olivvybee if they see you driving your train into the tunnel unannounced I don't think they have other options than to make the tunnel clear for you to go through it at full speed
@olivvybee that's just your poor choice of a vehicle, if instead of a car you'd gotten your own train you could go in the tunnel anytime
@olivvybee ah yes, a bridge will clearly solve problems that a tunnel definitely cannot
