Fresh from the press 📰! Spearheaded by Isabel from H. Prüss' group, our article explores synapsing autoantibodies and their link to fetal abnormalities. We found a 13.3% prevalence of anti-syn in pregnant women, which was associated with neurodevelopmental disorders. We aim to identify novel autoantigens targets to improve patients care in e.g. CIDP with unclear etiology
Here, our approach, by mean of the epitope knowledge, could help in explaining how these autoantibodies act on their target, thus leading to the pathology
