Finally time to admit that my beloved 2009 MacBook just isn’t what it used to be. I’ve always loved the white shells, from the iBook onwards but it was severely struggling today.
So naturally I installed Linux Mint on it and it’s given it a brand new lease of life!
@pamelafox I think that unless it’s from a horrifically named module then it’s better to go with “os.getenv” or “requests.get” etc as the clarity you get with it is of greater benefit than that of having a cleaner import statement, although I tend to use “from x import y” for local imports
