Are there good books or courses for learning Mac especially coming from windows to Mac. And which full-sized keyboard do people like, mostly the Magic, right? I will be having some help but don't expect to be handheld the whole way through.

If any blind musicians who use musescore or Lime and want quality notation I have a girl who charges about 5 a page and does a great job! It's a little cheaperthan Braille music. And she's super detailed. I just sent her a Ludovico Einaudi file on Wednesday. I now have a lovely file. braille is not a ton more mexpensive but like 15 or 20 more dollars expensiue and more if you want it shipped. This will work for me as I have an embosser.

@gtbray They make little gadgets which supposedly make it easier, but I think that would just add complexity to an already complex process.

For those of you who own macs and especially who use it for music production perhaps with a Komplete, I'm definitely getting 64 ram of memory at least. But do you all prefer a MacBook Pro or Studio. How do you feel about refurbs? Must they be from Apple before you buy? Hubby thinks I should go with a studio because of ports. I do not like laptop keyboards. I rarely go out but might want to be learning the basics of Mac on my recliner. What say you Mac users. What should be my first Mac must be a workhorse and able to handle larger more realistic sample libraries.

What’s the easiest way for a blind person to read a printed book with their iPhone? Are there any stands that will properly position the book for the camera to shots of each page for OCR?
