@boldblazer: I am going to start the IRA but against birds
@onfy can't try it lol. one of them the manufacturer doesn't list a trackpad driver and the other one is a trackpoint
@offby1 if you generate an oauth client with the auth keys write scope and pass the client secret into your tailscaled as an "auth key", it'll use the oauth client to provision itself an auth key on the fly and log in with it
@onfy both these computers are from the windows 7 and 10 era
if I had a nickel for every computer I had with an integrated mouse that did not have the ability to scroll for some reason, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
@The_T that's weird :o
I dunno if they're so amazing that you should risk a stomach ache about it, they're just Fine™ and easy to source for me
@The_T it just works really well to drown out the chili, sorta like milk or bread

I'm gonna be eating this for the next 3-4 days it's so joever
@fundamental the built-in windows defender is pretty alright
Google driving directions be like: “head north”

arm-none-eabi-with-left-beef
@hexadecimal_dinosaur glad we got that cleared up 👍
@usernameswift I always wondered if you have an out-of-province plate with the same number as an in-province plate if you can just get away with traffic crimes
@onfy so true
the good news is that "boiling hot closet full of computer" is gone now so I don't have to worry about a fire risk every time my NAS is randomly offline
on the one hand, crimping my own ethernet cables seems to have made me unstoppable in laying out my devices
on the other hand, fingers hurt from straightening twisted pairs ;-;
@hexadecimal_dinosaur those are fake
