I mean, if that’s what he wants.

We’re not getting rid of MAGA until we learn we’re smart enough to unite not divide but I’ve always considered him a terrible strategist.

A lot of the left’s unlikeable ideas and their tendency to throw away anyone who differs from them in the slightest drag down the rest of the Democratic Party and hurt its chances with what is not a left country at all so go ahead, I guess.

@mizblueprint @TonyStark I wanted to say this exact thing. The same people who wanted Biden to drop out because he was too old are suddenly jumping on the Bernie bandwagon! LOL

No invite for Trump ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@spocko @atomicbird @GottaLaff @Dhmspector She definitely wouldn't believe it. My family is deep in the cult. She still won't acknowledge that COVID killed my unvaxed dad. They got into the sovcit movement in the '80s and I tried for ~35 years to get them to see reality. It never worked.

If she lost her SS, she'd be annoyed, but would just assume it's a necessary sacrifice for a bigger cause. Same way they said my own basic human rights were "unimportant."

@TonyStark Bingo!

@spocko @atomicbird @GottaLaff @Dhmspector I'm probably going to get stuck doing this for my Trump-fan, anti-vax mother since she's living almost entirely off of Social Security now. She and my dad did absolutely nothing to prepare for retirement, so that's her only income. She has a little bit of savings left from when she moved out of their house when he died, but that's it.

@GottaLaff Why is ANYONE acting like this is just a normal post-election repositioning cruise?

@TonyStark "We shouldn't be spending American tax dollars helping foreigners! We should be helping our veterans!"

OK. So why are they laying waste to the VA?

*crickets*

His supporters say they don't want to fund “foreign aid” and that instead we should be helping our citizens. Then they cheer when programs that help Americans get cut.

They also make up scare stories like child abuse and vandalism to justify it.

At what point will people catch on that they only want the money for themselves?

I voted for Harris-Walz and I’m still pissed off at everyone who didn’t.

Yes, the world has always been shit. There have always been horrible people who want to do horrible things. But the thing dogging me about the 21st century is that we KNOW about those horrible things. Outside of places with a complete information blackout or propaganda flood, we all have access to the history to be able to see it as a cautionary tale.

But some people are instead using that history as a blueprint, and adjusting their methods to avoid the pitfalls of previous monsters.

“NEW: The Justice Department dropped its claims against Texas' congressional and legislative maps. Under the Biden administration, the DOJ argued the maps diluted the voting power of communities of color, violating the Voting Rights Act.”

A tale of two presidential coverages by WaPo. A stark example of how the legacy media helped push us into this disaster. On the top, Trump today with 151K jobs. On the bottom, Biden in 2021 with 194k jobs.

@TonyStark @kaliagainstallodds Because both groups want us to handwave bigotry in favor of catering to the whims of white dudes. They get really mad if they're not the only, or at least primary, focus of attention.
