Well let's put it this way, HPC is high-tech hardball.

Got this today - an AI podcast created from my old 2011 white paper/Dummies book "High Performance Computing for Dummies" I did not listen to the whole thing, seems I had to pay something.

Weird, is this were we are headed?

BTW, "book" is available many places, but missing new topics like GPUs!

I have been posting and writing about the TPC (Trillion Parameter Consortium), assuming everyone knows all about it. That assumption may not be valid! In case you have questions, I have answers

Don't miss the latest "This Week in HPC" with Addison Snell of Intersect360 Research and myself, yeah it is that good.

Remember back when COVID was spreading and we were all explaining (in vain) about the inevitable pandemic scenarios and how it was going to disrupt supply chains?

I'm getting the same vibe again.

One thing I like about writing is learning new ways to extract HPC performance from existing hardware, for example the Ozaki Scheme

New This Week in HPC podcast with Addison Snell of Intersect 360 Research and yours truly. Of course I'm biased and we do provide a solid and informed discussion of current HPC topics (and in this episode you can hear Addison sing the intro.)

I actually think this is gong to be a "don't miss" event for the HPC community. Open GenAI for science and engineering.

As we begin the new year, I wanted to share how HPCwire (and sister pubs) view the changing market dynamics and how we will cover them

@AlanSill

Limulus project and Limulus-Computing.com are all about low cost HPC next to your desk. Two big issues: power & packaging. The Limulus design (limulus-computing.com/Limulus-) solves these with multiple MBs & one PS (one wall plug), 3D-printed blades etc to fit in a commercial case.

@danielskatz So I clicked on the amazon page and it seems like a thing, but I was more impressesd with the authors other publications including the GoodReads choice and Amazon Ediors choice. He does have a knack for titles.
