With arrival of a menu bar in iPadOS 26, could we hope for OS-agnostic apps?

Having Microsoft Office looking the same on both macOS and iPadOS would make my day.

@joshzepeda I am super excited but my iPad Pro is my main productivity machine. Not really tempted to drop a demo there. 😅

Waking up this morning with a minority Liberal government. Again. Nevertheless, this election has been a landmark for changes.

The Tories managed to get almost 20 seats more than they had before the election but their leader was drastically defeated in his own riding which he had been representing for the past 20 years.

The NPD was almost obliterated and its leader announced his resignation.

The Bloc Québécois lost quite a number of seats but will definitely be a major player in the opposition since the NPD is no longer a force to be reckoned with.

The Liberals, although in power, gained a number of seats in Quebec but were roughed up by the Tories in Ontario and in the west which cost them the majority.

Now we move forward and get to work.

Looking forward to how things will go with the Trump administration.

But for now I pulled out the Beats case which I had totally forgotten about. I had indeed forgotten how I liked the feel of it in my hands. I got it at the same day I got my 16 Pro Max at the Apple Store.

I was today’s years old when I discovered that you can arrange your widgets independently to fit your tast when your iPad is in portrait or landscape orientation.

Please don’t judge me.

Really liked this book. Highly recommend it if you’re interested by the subject.

This is an app that solves one of my main annoyances with macOS. I have multiple possibilities for output and input sound sources for my Mac and I do HATE having to fiddle in the macOS Sound applet. The SoundSource app from the awesome devs at @RogueAmoeba.

I discovered the app through the #MacPowerUsers podcast and immediately purchased a license. This app is exactly what I wanted to manage my sound sources!

Not great but not too bad either.

I wanted something a little bit funky for my new desk. Something that would make me smile each time I would look at it.

I went for the Nintendo Alarmo. Sure I have no need for a wake alarm at my workstation (hopefully) but the 40+ years Nintendo fan in me could not pass on this. Adds a touch of color on my desk. Love it.
