You know, my computer has been running incredibly stably on Fedora and Gnome for like 3 years. I should change that by breaking the ever living hell out of it by switching to KDE.

@kariboka In the US, June 14th is Flag Day. It also happens to be President Trump's birthday. He has planned a large military parade in Washington DC, nominally to celebrate the US Army's 250th anniversary, but really it's to stoke his ego and make it about him. There are nationwide demonstrations today to protest not only Trump, but the actions of ICE as well.

@MandyMay I know of the ones around me already, I'm talking specifically about people who still get their news from the paper or local TV. Unfortunately for them Discord is a foreign concept.

It's disappointing how much of my local newspaper has been outsourced. They have an article about today's No Kings protests in IL, but only talk about the ones near Chicago. No mention at all about the ones in Central IL, where this paper's readers are located.

I finally started watching Mobile Suit #Gundam GQuuuuuuX and damn does this show slap. When I first saw the character and mecha designs I was skeptical, but everything works together. I LOVED episode 2 with its retelling of the first Mobile Suit Gundam episode, right down to the SFX and music. It was such a treat.
