@steveriggins oh yeah, got one of those a while back. Completely rocks. Learned from previous LG TV to never connect it to the internet.

Is Apple’s plan to just reset the Summarize Messages setting on every OS update until we just give up?
@incanus Test some full strength acetone in a small spot. Or if that’s too powerful, maybe 90% alcohol.
All aboard!
Cursed AirTag notification.
@steveriggins did you look under the rock?
@steveriggins maybe, but I like that they seemingly recognized that it wasn’t good and decided to take the time to fix before shipping. That costs real money.
This 3D printed dimple die worked great for flush installing these drains in the water pan of the plasma cutter table. Printed at 100% infill, so basically solid block of PLA.
Ratchet and wrench weren’t enough, had to use the impact wrench to fully deform it.
I think I’ve found a new home for the pinball machine. Appreciate the boosts I got!
Do I know anyone in PDX area that would like a pinball machine? Needs a replacement Player 4 display but is otherwise fully functional.
<goes to Amazon to order a battery holder>
Me: these look familiar…

Found the problem 😬
Finished off the lure course machine I prototyped a while back. Pretty sure the racing stripes will make the dog go at least 5mph faster. 🐶🚀
Two 12v batteries, motor controller, scrap 3/4” plywood, and a custom made wired remote. The remote can be unplugged and I added a charging port.
The 45° LED mount was a fun Fusion 360 project. LED just slides in for a snug friction fit.
@Cdespinosa saw them last year when they were opening for Green Day. Similar crowd mix. Pouring rain on the stage but they didn’t care, put on a hell of a show.
I've got some hard to get car parts I want to try and replicate, so I got a 3D scanner. Thats as good a justification as any I suppose.
I have a lot to learn, so practicing on different objects.
Here's my first decent scan, a Mac 128k motherboard. Medium resolution of about .3mm. ~170,000 points. I need to figure out lighting requirements and tracking dot placement. Pretty good for about 10 minutes of work though.
Getting better at Fusion 360. Couple of hours of design, an hour of printing, and I now have a pretty nice hand grip for the controls for my DIY lure course rig.
I lost the knob for the speed control, but I can probably print a replacement.
Next up, make a nice box for the batteries, speed controller and motor.
Obligatory Benchy and an outer radius gauge.
First print on Bambu X1-Carbon. This thing feels like science fiction. It just works, unlike every other printer I’ve owned.
Just got the notice that 1Password is deprecating sync for version 7. Guess it’s time to completely drop them.
@sanguish not on your list, but I’m using an LG 27UQ850 for my home MacBook and I’ve been quite pleased.
