Spent a couple days in Port Townsend with my lovely spouse. Had a great time. Went ocean kayaking, saw a WWII artillery battery, and had some weird goods, some good some bad. Happy to be home, not thrilled about being back to work come Monday.

Saw Ninja Sex Party (with TWRP opening!) on Wednesday evening and it was a KILLER show. Massive kudos to NSP and TWRP for putting on one excellent experience.

I've started building out a set of DM-focused TTRPG tools. Right now it's mainly focused on D&D, but it works for any fantasy setting with similar races and such. Mostly generators for varying things, like Donjon but fresher and modernized.

Having a lot of fun fucking around with my local LLM stuff. Not only is it relatively power efficient, it's full of possibilities. I mean, it's still a foundation built on lies and theft, but at least I can do it somewhat ethically. Gotta learn this shit to stay relevant, I guess. D:

So I streamed The Sims 1 last night, playing it for the first time in more than a decade. I’ll be honest, it’s aged like milk. It definitely hits the nostalgia buttons, but the first Sims game was difficult, almost to unplayable. Glad they really hoped their game with the later iterations. Looking forward to playing 2 this weekend to have some comparison points.

People have stopped tagging their politics posts and now it makes it hard for me to use Mastodon. Super disappointing since I uninstalled bsky and Reddit for the same reasons and I may have to do it with Mastodon too. 😮‍💨 I’m tired yall. My brain has to rest and purge from the politics so I can resume fighting for my loved ones. This cannot happen if you do not tag posts.

Just did my first round of maintenance on my Bambu P1S printer! Bambi is good as new. I even checked the filament cutting blade, and it looks barely used so even that's good to go for a hot minute. :D

Anyone have any recommendations on a tool that I can use to build simple cases/boxy holders with various holes for wiring and the like without needing an engineering degree? I tried Autodesk Fusion and it's dogshit for making anything without having a deep understanding of CAD.
