gods, cloning an NVMe is such a pain in the fuck
i'm actually yeeting the drive's contents around using netcat because the framework 13 doesn't have two NVMe slots π // π¦
i get that they don't want to break backwards compatibility / upgrade path, but for the love of all that is holy, redo that stupid thermal path because a tiny-ass fan drawing in air from the underside left of the laptop is awful
maybe i'm spoiled by owning a 14" mac since 2021 (which has faults too), but that thing is still leaps and bounds better than the FW13
i want to like this device, but in the end it just makes me sad to own
a device that's maybe been opened 200 times has its hinge creak like the joints of a 90 year old
oh yeah! and my hinge is failing!
the more time i spend with the Framework 13 the more i come to loathe it:
@awoo i hope you dropped a timemachine
@robodoll a wise choice (coming from someone who regrettably writes and understands bash) π¦
@awoo did it do this when it hit 80%?
i guess some ML model in your phone decided you don't take it off the charger to make it worthwhile to fill the battery immediately (iOS does it too) π¦
wait i could've taken prog as a sleeping aid yesterday? argh π¦
