This may be a long shot, but if anyone is going to know the answer, it's going to be my fellow #startrek nerds here. Anyone know where you can find a replacement battery for a Wand Company Bluetooth Communicator? I'm aware there may be soldering involved, as it's not designed to be replaceable.
The shocking real story of what’s happening at Newark
Why is nobody talking about this? (origin unknown)
3/3 The best of luck to everyone impacted, and if any of you are listening, I want you to know that if you wanted to make a difference in the world, you certainly made a difference in mine.
2/3 To me, this feels less like corporate layoffs and more like someone has ripped the soul out of something I've loved for over 25 years. Bioware games haven't just entertained me; they made me feel like I was seen, understood, and supported.
1/3 The news out of #bioware today has got me gutted. I've been a huge fan for decades, and they're the only studio I can say I would happily buy any game they produced, knowing I'd love it. And I have, in every case, in addition to knowing that everyone I've met who worked on those games was a genuinely good person who wanted to make the world a better place.
One more Thanksgiving on the books. A nice, quiet one this year with very little drama, surprisingly little political conflict, and no drunken outbursts. Once the kids grow up, they might actually get fun.
Saw Popeye's had turkeys and my wife and I both got instantly knew what we were doing for Thanksgiving. I'm not sure I want to know what that says about us.
@Gargron I appreciate the tweaks to the post editor. If I want to do something more complicated than just bang out text and hit the send button, it's really clear how to do it.
@mattblaze Love the photo, and especially the caption. I feel a bit more normal about all the times I'd look up at a Bay Area hillside and hear Pete Seeger in my head. I'm still not sure what "ticky tacky" is, though.
@heretical_i @rbreich OK, I'm curious... we're talking about Lyndon Johnson? The one who declined to run for a second term?
Came home from the L.A. trip with a dead #gaming rig. After struggling to get it working again all day yesterday, I broke down this morning and ordered my first pre-built computer since my Pentium 60 in 1993, parts of which still exist in the dead machine I've been upgrading over the last 30 years.
The realization that I've finally gotten too old and tired to built one from scratch myself disturbs me. Also, R.I.P., old friend.
@mishellbaker Whenever I have to explain this stuff to people (which is distressingly often), I frequently say it's more accurately "survival of the good enough." It's not really a question on competition so much as the ability to persevere, whatever form that might take.
@thebaby209 has found videos of their reactions to a couple of these and posted them to TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTNmQ9x2p/

I've been to two #xdinaryHeroes concerts in L.A. the last two days, and #ateez is on deck for tomorrow, and I can't talk to anyone about it online except here, because I'm surprising my brother for his birthday on Sunday. The self-imposed gag order is killing me.
@paleblueyedot @chrisisgr8 I can forgive that oversight, but the omission of Zouth Dakota is baffling.
