@LindaCollins11 it won’t be that cold down by y’all. Shoot, it won’t even be that cold by us. 60s during the day (which really means closer to 70 by the beach) and 50s at night. I’m mainly excited about open window days and the AC not being on. I’ll probably break out my hoodie.

@LindaCollins11 Good morning Miss Linda and happy Saturday! Today is an absolutely perfect day. 72 and brilliantly sunny with a breeze. My windows are open and it’s nice and quiet. Exactly what I needed and wanted all those years I kept saying I needed out of that damn condo. And actually a perfect replica of the weather for our wedding three years ago today. 😊

My anxiety is pretty high today. I can’t fathom how this is close, I really can’t. I keep thinking no way this country re-elects a rapist and a felon…who’s also a fascist. But then I remember how many people have no clue how things work and I get scared. I’d say we’ll know soon enough, but really it can’t be soon enough. I’m so worried he’s going to declare victory before polls are even closed. Sigh.

I have to say, as stressful as the move was, the timing was really great for keeping election anxiety at bay. The Sunday Joe dropped out was the day we came to see this place, which kept me from panicking over that…then the move itself and setting up house here. I’m just glad I’ve had something else to focus on during this time. Hierarchy of stressors. 🤣

In hindsight, scheduling the Covid booster for Saturday evening was a good call. Yesterday was spent mostly sleeping and today I’m just starting to feel a bit better, but still not enough to be stressed. I’m sure that will happen tomorrow. 😳

@LindaCollins11 this was all neighborhood kids. There were lots more, but they stayed on 1st St and were a few houses down from 1st St. saw lots more walking by down there.

Another sunny, gorgeous day today. I actually have two hibiscus blooming! So they must be ok with their new homes. Actually had a handful of groups trick or treating last night. First time I’ve had trick or treaters in many years. Way too much candy left tho. Y’all have a great day!
