Find some other thing I need to be doing and try forcing myself to do it, with the first thing as a pressure-release escape activity. Basically, balance two ADHD-repulsions against each other.

Medicate a little more heavily. I have had to increase my dose of ADHD meds.

I count knowing all of y'all as among my greatest treasures. Just wanted to tell you that again.

Today turned out okay. Think I'll read myself to sleep. Right now I'm reading "Luck in the Shadows" by Lynn Flewelling. It's really good.

Couldn't get a Christmas tree because we have two cats - and they would destroy it.

So we decorated the cat tree instead. Now they can climb it as much as they want. And tomorrow, when we take the decorations down, they won't be disappointed because their tree will stay.

Make copies of artifacts and please write about them excruciating detail, document from weird angles, note the obvious, and the absurd.

Presuppose a future where someone else wants to know that artifact as you know it.

No one person, or org, can hold back the fog of time forever, but consider giving history a helping hand.

I've gone from wanting a tech job, to settling for being tech-adjacent, until some things change. Which I think they will...eventually.

One thing I want to do this year is have cooler and more interesting internet inputs. This will help a lot.

Also, I highly recommend these silicone collars if, like me, you have a cat who scratches at and fights the regular fabric ones. Mac barely notices this is on him at all.

My cat has decided to morph into a pillbug.
