@StockbridgeArch Holiday. I definitely remember sun up on the upper floors of the building, but don’t remember if it hit all the way down to the piazza. We had a small roof deck that had a lot of sun and a washing machine was in a closet. 😊

@StockbridgeArch I stayed in a small flat above this piazza about 8 years ago, the door was on the left and up 4 or 5 flights of steep stairs.

I agree. But I also realize that if we fight each other, the only winning revolution is the right-wing! Fight amongst yourselves, but remember your alternative is Donald Trump and a right-wing, Fascist takeover.

This is what these AI art people remind me of. They really don't understand what makes art special and are angry that they don't have it.

The death of the open independent web has been predicted many times, but the tidal wave of AI garbage, plus people removing their content from the open web to avoid getting used by AI, plus the decades-old trend away from websites toward apps and controlled platforms, plus the festering rot of Google’s search quality, really has me wondering if I will witness the birth and death of the web in my lifetime.

@fraying I would do this, but unlike Twitter, here , and Bluesky deleting your Tumblr doesn’t delete all the reblogs of your work which will still be scraped.

The photo display on ice cubes has changed and is awful for vertical phone photos or multiple photo posting. Do any of my photography friends have an app they love?
