"Europe arrived one minute before twelve to support Ukraine and prevent a disaster," criticised #Volt MEP Reinier van Lanschot. "Europe must overcome its inferiority complex. We have everything needed to become what the US is no longer: a united democracy defending freedom."

🇪🇺 🇩🇪 The EU budget for 2026 provides several million euros more in funding for transport infrastructure than the European Commission had proposed, reports DVZ Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung.
The budget for the Connecting Europe Facility, the EU's most important infrastructure funding instrument, will be €8.5 million higher than proposed for transport projects, said #volteuropa MEP Kai Tegethoff, after the agreement was reached.

On the other hand, the world is becoming increasingly dangerous, facing a rise in extremism and a climate crisis, he added.
"We can only solve all these challenges if we work together as a strong, united, and democratic European Union, and that is why Volt exists as a new party," Borja explains. He also announced his candidacy in the upcoming parliamentary and local elections.

🇸🇮 @voltslovenija has begun collecting signatures to establish a political party. Its main programmatic goals include European integration, decentralisation, and predictability and transparency in society, reports N1 Slovenija, among others.
Slovenia has enormous potential in science, entrepreneurship, and sports, "but in politics, we are still holding back a little and have some room for improvement," Borja Ranzinger emphasised.
