@ceremus The desktop functionality of the #SteamDeck saved my ass recently. Had to design a promotional announcment for my production company while I was away on holiday. Since I use #OpenSource software for this on my main (Windows) computer, I was happy to grab @GIMP from the App Manager on the Steamdeck and make the image required. I confess to keeping a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse in the case with my Steamdeck for these eventualities, but it was pleasing to prove its utility for real!

#introduction
I've been a #pcgamer since the days of "640KB is enough for anyone." Prior to that I had used a #Dragon32 (Cuthbert for ever!)
TV based console-wise I've only had two - #Dreamcast and #Wii. Handhelds have hardly been more present, a #GP2X device - my first introduction to handheld emulation devices (I have almost all the commerical titles too), then a #PSP, and lastly a #SteamDeck which neatly coalesces all three groups of device (PC, Handheld and TV console.)
